Here at E-zec we are very proud of our long history – the company is now in its twentieth year of providing a high quality NEPT service to our NHS trust partners and patients.

​

The business was started in 1998 by Paul and Derek, with only one vehicle undertaking many journeys working with various insurance companies, repatriating people who had become ill whilst on holiday abroad. Reinvesting all of the profit made back into the business, E-zec soon established a foothold in the Non Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) which quickly saw the business and workforce grow.

Today, we are now one of the longest established and largest independent ambulance providers, being one of only a few that operates solely and exclusively in the patient transport sector. The two founding shareholders still own the company and Paul remains active in the day-to-day running of the business and is an integral part of all NEPTS mobilisations and service delivery solutions.

All staff are encouraged to share their experiences, good or bad, so we can use their input to improve our business. We are also not afraid to challenge behaviors that go against our values, such as poor patient care, attitude and laziness.
